ROEM [ART] [NL]
Step into a record store like no other — one that’s filled with albums by artists who never existed. Dig through crates of imaginary vinyl, discover unheard genres, and lose yourself in music that feels strangely familiar yet completely new.
This is a place where the boundaries of music and imagination blur. Every record is a doorway into a world that might have been — or still could be.
And the best part? You can create your own. Design album covers, invent band names, write bios and liner notes. Add your creation to the shelves or take it home as a souvenir from this alternate musical reality.
Welcome to the Imaginary Record Store.
Where the music you’ve always dreamed of finally exists.
Stichting ROEM is a Leiden (NL) based multidisciplinary artist collective working to improve the future of our creative field—a hangout for ink-stained hands and trailblazers of creativity. Our studio is filled with exhibitions, workshops, talks, events, & the occasional music.
The collective consists of young makers from different disciplines, including photography, writers, visual artists, graphic designers and illustrators. They work together in Leiden on their futures as professional makers. Together they pursue the main goal of the ROEM Foundation: to underline the importance of art in our society.
