ANNA PABERZA [NL]
REIMAGINING THE INDUSTRIAL
Anna Paberza is an interdisciplinary researcher and artist working across cultural anthropology, industrial ecology, and artistic research. Her practice explores the relationships between personal histories, social systems, and environmental transformations through painting, ethnography, and participatory approaches. Based in Delft, she works from a studio where she develops visual and material investigations into questions of care, extraction and society.
For Cluster Festival, Anna will create space for a participatory painting process beginning with a large-scale depiction of an industrial landscape. While initially appearing complete and distant, the work will invite visitors to intervene by painting, drawing, writing, attaching materials, and physically engaging with the surface. Through collective transformation and engagement, the industrial image becomes a living, relational space – reflecting the need to question inherited structures and imagine new possibilities together.
