Klankspoor is the modular techno project of Dutch musician Quinten de Jongh, whose background as a drummer keeps rhythm at the center of his approach to electronic music.
Using modular synthesis, he builds performances entirely in realtime, without pre-programmed structure or fixed outcome. Nothing is prepared in advance, and the direction of a set only reveals itself as it unfolds. Guided by instinct and the energy of the crowd, Klankspoor embraces imperfection as part of the process, where control is constantly shifting and the outcome can never be fully known. No two sets are ever the same. This results in intense, high energy performances.
