TURBINE CRT WALL [INSTALLATION]
The Turbine CRT wall has become a signature element of every Turbine event.
What started just a week before VOL.1, when the team impulsively bought their first five CRT televisions, has now grown into a collection of more than eighty sets. These screens have been used for everything from art exhibitions and light sculptures to massive AV installations and retro gaming walls.
Far from being simple displays, the CRTs add an extra layer of storytelling alongside the musical program. They serve as a living canvas for the Turbine VJs, who have learned to bend the warm glow of analog vacuum tubes to their will. Static turns into rhythm, glitches become patterns, and the wall itself becomes part of the performance.
The CRT wall is more than a backdrop. It is a visual instrument, a pulsing core of energy that transforms each venue into something unmistakably Turbine.
